Phil Trammell, evaluation of “Artificial Intelligence and Economic Growth” (by Philippe Aghion, Ben Jones, and Charles Jones). Trammell’s evaluation was extremely comprehensive, going above and beyond our minimum expectations in numerous ways, including contextualizing the work, considering the realism, relevance, and insights of the authors’ models, and even checking the math and finding and helping correct an important proof (which the authors have acknowledged and adjusted). Phil Trammell is a Research Associate at the Global Priorities Institute and a DPhil student at Oxford.
Hannah Metzler, evaluation of Haushofer et al. (our second prize research winner). Metzler’s rigorous, in-depth analysis and discussion provided valuable insights into the design of the intervention, the RCT, and the assumptions underlying the study. Hannah Metzler is a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Complexity Science Hub Vienna.
Alex Bates (independent researcher), evaluation of "...cost-effectiveness of resilient foods for global catastrophes" by Denkenberger et al.
Robert Kubinec (NYU Abu Dhabi), evaluation of “...Citizen Participation on Environmental Governance in China” by Buntaine et al.
We highlight other particularly helpful evaluations below. These and other evaluations are being given small incentive bonuses; we issue these at regular intervals. They are also eligible for our future Evaluator Prizes.
